Conservation Agreement turns Tasmania into giant national park

As a result of the disastrous forest deal, over 58 percent of Tasmania’s native forests will be locked up, and thanks to Labor and the Greens we are now a giant national park.

The fact that despite all of this the Greens still aren’t happy, and still want more lock-ups confirms the folly of Labor’s desperate attempt to appease them.

This is proof positive that Tasmania is closed for business under Labor and the Greens.

In contrast, the Liberal vision is for Tasmania to be proudly self-reliant and growing, by supporting our cornerstone industries such as forestry – not shutting them down.
