Lara Giddings has refused to front the people whose jobs she has destroyed, declining a series of open and honest debates with myself, on her disastrous forestry deal in the very communities it has devastated.*

Ms Giddings is arrogantly ignoring her obligation to explain her disastrous forestry policy to those whose livelihoods it has ruined.

Her gutless refusal to publically debate the Liberals on forestry shows what scant regard the Premier has for forestry workers and communities.

Ms Giddings has cut the forest industry in half and put thousands of people on the dole queue with her disastrous forestry deal.

Instead of being accountable and open she now wants to hide away in her ivory tower.
