The Liberals welcome the creation of the Mt Wellington Task Force, however it says a lot about the Green-Labor Government’s anti-development mentality that this task force even needs to exist.

The Liberals strongly support sensible developments right around Tasmania, including on Mt Wellington - and that's why we will legislate to remove the Wellington Trust’s current veto power.

It’s time to get away from the mentality of saying no to everything and start saying yes.

Yes to development that will create jobs, yes to development that will bring visitors and yes to development that will get the economy going again.
